Arthur Fery says he is ready to embrace the spotlight after his fairytale run to the Wimbledon semi-finals transformed him into Britain's new No. 1 and one of the biggest stories in tennis this season.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a remarkable fortnight at the All England Club, exceeding expectations to reach the last four before his memorable campaign came to an end. His breakthrough performance has propelled him to the top of the British rankings and brought a new level of public and media attention.
Rather than feeling overwhelmed, Fery believes he is prepared for the changes that come with his newfound status.
He acknowledged that life will inevitably be different following his Wimbledon success but said he intends to stay focused on improving his game and not be distracted by the extra attention.

Fery also pointed to fellow Briton Emma Raducanu as an example of how quickly life can change after a major breakthrough. Raducanu became a global star after winning the 2021 US Open as a qualifier, and Fery said watching her experience has given him a better understanding of what to expect.
He admitted there will be greater demands away from the court, including media commitments and commercial opportunities, but believes those are positive challenges that come with success at the highest level.
Despite his rapid rise, Fery insisted his priorities remain unchanged. His focus is on continuing his development, improving his ranking and proving that his Wimbledon performance was not a one-off.
With expectations now significantly higher, Britain's newest leading man is determined to build on his Grand Slam breakthrough and establish himself as a consistent contender on the ATP Tour.
