CFMoto will remain a major presence in the MotoGP paddock after renewing its partnership with the Aspar team in Moto2 and Moto3 for another five years, following championship success with Moto3 star David Alonso.

China’s CFMoto will continue its presence in the MotoGP paddock for at least the next five years after renewing its partnership with the Aspar team in Moto2 and Moto3.

The Spanish squad, run by former rider Jorge Martinez ‘Aspar,’ first teamed up with CFMoto for the 2024 season. Under the partnership, CFMoto’s name is featured on KTM-badged Moto3 machinery and appears on the Aspar team’s Moto2 bikes.

The collaboration has already delivered significant results. In its first season, CFMoto and Aspar won the Moto3 World Championship with David Alonso. Over two seasons, the partnership has been linked to 21 victories across Moto3 and Moto2, achieved by Alonso, Maximo Quiles, Dani Holgado, and Jake Dixon. Quiles earned the top rookie award in Moto3 in 2025, while Holgado claimed the rookie title in Moto2.

The new agreement extends the collaboration through the end of the 2031 season, aligning with the upcoming single-spec era in Moto3.

“After these first two seasons with CFMoto, we look forward to continuing our work together,” Jorge Martinez said. “We are proud to have delivered their first world championship victory, multiple race wins, and both rookie titles. I am confident that 2026 will bring even more successes. This is only the beginning of a great story together.”

CFMoto’s Su Zhen added that the relationship has become like a family. “We have pushed in the same direction both on and off the track, supporting projects such as training young Chinese riders and developing new bikes. This partnership has been a great success, and I am excited to see what the future holds.”

Martinez also revealed that CFMoto is exploring a potential expansion into MotoGP in the future, though he confirmed this would not happen in 2027.
