Just over a year ago, the future looked bleak for Dania Sofea Zaidi. A devastating left knee ACL injury, sustained during the National Under-18 Mixed Team Championships in Penang in August 2023, brought her promising career to a grinding halt. This setback came months after she had already established herself as one of Malaysia's brightest young women's doubles prospects, notably earning a silver medal at the World Junior Championships alongside Low Zi Yu.
