Tardio Unveils New Asia Partnerships
Tardio will also introduce two new partnerships during his Kuala Lumpur appearance. Noe Khlif will join him in Men's Doubles for his own first appearance on the Asia circuit. The pairing comes just weeks after the two faced each other at the Major League Pickleball Finals in New York, adding an interesting twist to their new partnership.
In Mixed Doubles, Tardio will team up with Jessie Irvine, one of the sport's decorated and entertaining players. The Malaysian stop also gives Tardio another opportunity to compete for silverware in Asia. Malaysia Starts Tardio's Two-Week Asia Tour
The Leapmotor Kuala Lumpur Cup 2026 is only the first stop on a wider Asia swing that will take Tardio across three countries over two weeks.
After completing his matches at The Hood, Tardio will remain in Malaysia for clinics with local players before travelling to Singapore for community sessions, exhibition matches and meet-and-greets. The tour will then conclude in the Philippines, where more community activities are planned.
For pickleball players and fans across the region, the tour offers a rare opportunity to meet and learn from one of the sport's top competitors. In Kuala Lumpur, however, Tardio will be focused on the competitive side of the trip as he looks to challenge for another title.
Five Days of Professional Pickleball in KL
The tournament runs from Wednesday, 9 September, through Championship Sunday, 13 September, giving fans five days of professional pickleball action.
