The International Testing Agency (ITA), acting on behalf of the Global Pickleball Federation (GPF), will organise a Clean Sport education webinar this February.

The International Testing Agency (ITA), on behalf of the Global Pickleball Federation (GPF), will host a Clean Sport education webinar as part of their growing collaboration in promoting integrity within pickleball.

The GPF and ITA previously announced a partnership in December to develop and gradually roll out an independent and comprehensive anti-doping programme for pickleball over the next four years. This partnership represents a key milestone for one of the world’s fastest-growing sports and strengthens the GPF’s commitment to athlete protection, fair play, and good governance as pickleball continues its global expansion.

Staying clean in sport, pickleball in this case, is a shared responsibility among athletes, coaches, medical personnel, athlete support staff, and all other stakeholders. For this reason, everyone must understand the rules, what they mean, and how to follow them correctly, helping to safeguard both athlete integrity and the sport itself.

This is where the ITA-GPF webinar plays an important role. It will cover essential information on doping and how to remain clean, explore practical scenarios to build confidence in decision-making, and provide useful tools to support participants.

GPF board member Mark Fabbro will join the webinar to speak on the importance of clean sport within the pickleball community. This will be followed by a live Q&A session, allowing participants to raise questions and concerns. The session will be conducted in English, with automated translated captions available, and all attendees will receive a PDF copy of the presentation, including links to the resources discussed.
