Ho Chi Minh City: Asia's New Pickleball Powerhouse

Scheduled from 6-9 August at New Sports Club, City Park, The Global City in Binh Trung Ward, the tournament will feature a USD $70,000 professional prize pool, with winners also earning up to 500 PPA global ranking points. After stops across Asia, the tour arrives in Vietnam's southern metropolis with immense momentum. The swift registration of over 500 players across various divisions in just over three weeks underscores the event's significant appeal.

Clash of Titans: The Pro Showdown

The on-court action promises to be nothing short of spectacular. Local fans are buzzing for the reunion of formidable Mixed Doubles pair Hien Truong and Sophia Huynh, who last thrilled audiences at the MB Hanoi Cup. Globally recognized names are also descending on HCMC.

Expect to see the legendary former Men’s Doubles world No. 1 Collin Johns dominate the courts. He'll be joined by Jack Wong Hong-kit, the Hong Kong, China sensation who has consistently been one of PPA Tour Asia’s most decorated players in 2026. This confluence of regional and international talent ensures a fiercely competitive tournament.

A Venue Built for Pickleball Perfection

The New Sports Club at City Park has undergone a remarkable transformation. All 16 competition courts have been meticulously upgraded to PPA Tour Asia standards, offering a fully covered environment with additional rain protection for the entire four-day event. This purpose-built setup ensures an optimal experience for both players and spectators. The Championship Court, Grandstand Court, and 14 standard courts give players and spectators a purpose-built tournament environment rather than an improvised one.

Experience the Thrill: Tickets & Exclusive Access

For those eager to witness the live action, Championship Court tickets went on sale July 22 via Ticketbox. General admission ranges from VND 265,000 to 660,000, with VIP packages from VND 530,000 to 1,190,000 and VVIP from VND 2,380,000 to 7,920,000. VIP and VVIP access includes official tournament merchandise and entry to the exclusive VIP Lounge.

Beyond the premium seating, the Grandstand Court, all standard courts, and the exciting Pickletown experience village are entirely free to enter. Pickletown, which debuted in Hanoi, returns bigger and better, offering interactive fun for all ages.

Unveiling the Ultra-Premium MB Central VVIP Tier

Making its debut for 2026 is the MB Central VVIP tier, offering the ultimate viewing experience. Guests will occupy the center row along the sideline, providing the closest seats to the action available anywhere in the venue. This exclusive package includes a premium pickleball paddle, a sports backpack, additional merchandise, and full VIP Lounge access. This unparalleled offering is reserved for MB customers.

MB's Vision: Elevating Vietnamese Sport

MB serves as the title sponsor for the fourth PPA Tour Asia stop in Vietnam, a partnership that extends beyond mere branding. Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, MB's marketing director, emphasized the bank's broader commitment.

“With every PPA Tour Asia stop, MB wants to bring world-class sporting experiences closer to the Vietnamese people, while helping put Vietnam’s cities on the map as standout destinations in regional sport,” she stated. “For MB Priority, sport is more than competition—it’s a chance for our customers to connect, invest in their wellbeing, and enjoy moments that matter.”

Amateur registration for this monumental event closes on July 24, 2026. Ho Chi Minh City is buzzing, and the stage is set for an unforgettable display of pickleball prowess. Don't miss out!
