Indonesia Open champions Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani may have reached new heights in their careers, but the Malaysian men's doubles pair believe their biggest achievements are still ahead of them.
The independent duo recently captured the prestigious Indonesia Open title, adding a Super 1000 crown to a collection that now includes victories across every level of the BWF World Tour. Despite the milestone, neither player is ready to celebrate for long.
Speaking during a badminton clinic organised in conjunction with their appointment as AIA Vitality ambassadors, Sze Fei stressed the importance of maintaining their motivation and continuing to push for greater success.
The world No. 6 pair have established themselves among the elite of men's doubles badminton, but Sze Fei believes there is little value in dwelling on past accomplishments.
According to him, the pair must remain hungry and continue striving for new targets rather than becoming comfortable with what they have already achieved.

Izzuddin shares the same mindset. While their Indonesia Open triumph marked one of the biggest victories of their careers, he pointed out that several major titles still remain beyond their reach.
Among those goals, the Olympics and the World Championships stand above the rest. Both players view those events as the ultimate tests of success and the next major milestones in their careers.
Away from competition, Sze Fei and Izzuddin are also embracing their responsibilities as AIA Vitality ambassadors. Through the partnership, they hope to inspire Malaysians to adopt healthier lifestyles by highlighting the importance of discipline, consistency and physical well-being.
Sze Fei said the values promoted by the programme closely reflect the habits required to compete at the highest level of professional sport. Maintaining a healthy routine, he noted, is essential for sustained success on the court.
Izzuddin added that becoming ambassadors carries a responsibility to lead by example. Beyond their performances in tournaments, he believes athletes should encourage positive lifestyle choices and demonstrate the benefits of discipline through their own actions.
As their profile continues to grow both on and off the court, Sze Fei and Izzuddin remain determined to build on their recent success. With the sport's two most coveted titles still missing from their resume, the Malaysian pair are already looking ahead to their next challenge.
