Focus shifts to Bournemouth finale
Andoni Iraola has remained reserved when discussing his future plans, despite growing interest from several top clubs. Chelsea FC, Real Madrid, and Crystal Palace FC are all reportedly tracking his situation, while he has also been mentioned in connection with the managerial role at Manchester United.
AFC Bournemouth currently sit sixth in the Premier League with 55 points, having recorded 13 wins and 16 draws from 36 matches. They remain in a tight race for European qualification, chasing fourth-placed Liverpool FC and fifth-placed Aston Villa FC, with a top-five finish securing Champions League football. Sixth place could also prove enough if Villa finish fifth and win the Europa League.
After a key 1-0 win over Fulham FC, Iraola kept his stance on his future firm, saying: "I'm in no rush. I will not talk about my future. I'm fully focused on trying to finish this season with a reward, something tangible for the [Bournemouth] players and supporters."

Manchester United are said to view Iraola as a leading option should Michael Carrick not be retained on a permanent basis. Carrick stepped in as interim manager in January following the departure of Rúben Amorim. Although Carrick has delivered encouraging results and secured Champions League qualification, the INEOS-led football operations team are still evaluating multiple candidates.
Confirmation over Vitality Stadium departure
Iraola is set to leave AFC Bournemouth at the end of the campaign, with the club moving quickly to ensure stability by naming Marco Rose as his successor. Reflecting on the decision, Iraola explained the relief once the situation was settled, saying: "It was not an easy decision [to leave] but once it is made you feel relief," Iraola said.
"I feel we have used it in a positive way. Since that day, we've had great results but also the mood. Everyone is clear, the relationship is so clean and honest. Okay, this is going to happen, next season Marco Rose will be our manager. Everyone knows what's happening. We are in good place and can use this in a positive way."
Decision looming at season’s end
As the campaign approaches its conclusion, attention is expected to intensify around the managerial reshuffle across Europe. Manchester United face a key decision between appointing Iraola or continuing with Carrick. However, regardless of speculation, Iraola remains focused on guiding Bournemouth towards a historic European qualification finish before any future move is considered.
