Freshly crowned as 2025 Formula 1 world champion, Lando Norris has celebrated his Abu Dhabi title triumph with a gold helmet

Lando Norris has celebrated his Formula 1 world title not just with a boozy night (and early morning) in Abu Dhabi, but also with a special helmet. He wore it during testing at Yas Marina just days after the 2025 F1 season came to an end, and photos of the new lid were posted to social media.

The design leans heavily into papaya and gold colouring, matched with the usual swirling lines of his personal branding.

Norris arrived in Abu Dhabi 12 points clear of title contender Max Verstappen and 16 points ahead of his McLaren team-mate, Oscar Piastri. Starting on the front row beside the Dutchman, he quickly lost a place to the Australian who started behind him. But after a robust performance from Norris during the race, he safely ended in third, allowing him to finish the season with a two-point lead.

On top of the helmet release, McLaren also released a special Lando Norris championship collection, featuring a papaya title-winning cap, hoodies, T-shirts and posters, alongside the team's standard merchandise. As you'd expect, the new clothing mirrors Norris's new helmet.
