Marco Bezzecchi has provided a positive update on his recovery as he works towards returning to MotoGP action following a serious crash that ruled him out of the German Grand Prix.
The Aprilia rider said his recovery is progressing as planned after undergoing surgery for a displaced fracture of his left collarbone. Bezzecchi suffered the injury during qualifying at the Sachsenring when he was thrown from his bike after a high-side crash at Turn 7.

The Italian was forced to miss the remainder of the German GP weekend, ending his run of recent struggles after a difficult period that included several crashes and missed opportunities in the championship fight.
With MotoGP's summer break nearing its end, Bezzecchi is now facing a race against time to be fit for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The Aprilia rider had previously expressed his intention to return at the first race after the break, and his latest update suggests he remains on track with his recovery plan.
"I'm better, the recovery is going according to plan," Bezzecchi said during an appearance at the CIV Misano night race, where he attended as a spectator while continuing his rehabilitation.
The injury came at a challenging point in Bezzecchi's season. After making a strong start to the campaign and establishing himself as a championship contender, the Italian has lost ground due to a series of setbacks in recent rounds.
A successful comeback at Silverstone would give Bezzecchi an opportunity to rebuild momentum and return to the fight in the second half of the season. However, his fitness will be closely monitored as he continues preparing for a return to his Aprilia RS-GP.
