Palmeiras praised those responsible for maintaining their pitch, pointing out that the surface is kept in perfect condition and free of holes through daily care. The club also echoed Neymar’s comments about player safety, claiming that their even surface gives athletes greater confidence during runs.
Palmeiras went one step further by highlighting their injury record, stating that they are the Serie A club with the fewest injuries over the last five years. The social media exchange added another layer of spice to an already heated rivalry following Santos’ Copa do Brasil elimination.
