Campos Delivers Clear Market Warning
PSG advisor Luis Campos has made it clear that the club's transfer business is far from finished ahead of the September 1 deadline. Speaking to Ligue 1+, Campos explained that Paris Saint-Germain are continuing to assess their squad and remain ready to act if the right opportunity emerges during the final days of the window.
"The transfer window is far from over, it's still open. Between now and the end, on the arrivals side, if we find a good opportunity, we'll take it. It's like that every year," Campos said.
He also pointed to last year's late departure of Gigio Donnarumma, who left for Manchester City on September 2, as an example of how quickly situations can change towards the end of the transfer window.
"I remind you what happened last year with Gigio Donnarumma (who left for Manchester City on September 2nd), it was really late," Campos added.
Liverpool Target PSG Attacking Duo
While PSG remain open to further activity, Liverpool have set their sights on two of the French club's attacking players, Bradley Barcola and teenage prospect Ibrahim Mbaye, as Andoni Iraola looks to strengthen his attacking options at Anfield.
Barcola enjoyed a breakout campaign in the French capital, establishing himself as one of Europe's most dynamic wide forwards. Meanwhile, 18-year-old Mbaye has attracted significant attention for his rapid development through PSG's academy system.
