The Toronto Raptors have completed Darko Rajaković’s coaching staff for the 2026-27 NBA season, bringing in veteran coach Stephen Silas as an assistant while promoting Matt Vest to the front bench. Jeremy Castleberry also returns to the coaching staff, while Stephane Ingo, Isiah Price and Aidan Wilson join the organization as video coordinators and player development coaches.

Stephen Silas Brings 25 Years of NBA Experience
The biggest addition to the Raptors coaching staff is Stephen Silas, who joins Toronto after serving as head coach of USA Basketball through the 2025 and 2027 FIBA AmeriCup windows.
Silas posted an 11-3 record (.786) with USA Basketball and helped the team earn a bronze medal last August. His NBA coaching career spans 25 seasons, most recently as a lead assistant coach with the Detroit Pistons during the 2023-24 season.
Silas previously served as head coach of the Houston Rockets from 2020 to 2023. He also held assistant coaching roles with the Dallas Mavericks, Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and New Orleans.
Before entering the NBA, the Boston native spent three years as assistant executive director of the National Basketball Retired Players Association.
Matt Vest Earns Promotion in Toronto
Matt Vest moves onto Rajaković’s front bench after spending the past three seasons as an assistant video coordinator and player development coach with the Raptors.
Before joining Toronto, Vest worked as an assistant coach with Medi Bayreuth in Germany's Basketball Bundesliga during the 2022-23 season and previously coached at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Vest also played professionally in Germany for seven seasons between 2014 and 2021. The Dayton, Ohio native played four seasons of college basketball at Wright State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business management.
Jeremy Castleberry Returns to Raptors Staff
The Raptors are also bringing back Jeremy Castleberry, who returns for his second season in Toronto.
Castleberry was part of Toronto's championship-winning staff during the 2018-19 season before spending five seasons as an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Clippers from 2019 to 2026.
He previously spent five seasons within the San Antonio Spurs organization and began his professional coaching career with the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League.
Raptors Add Three Player Development Coaches
Toronto has also strengthened its video and player development group with the additions of Stephane Ingo, Isiah Price and Aidan Wilson.
Ingo joins after two seasons with the Sacramento Kings organization, where he worked as an assistant video coordinator in 2025-26 after serving as a coaching associate the previous season. The Mississauga native previously played professionally for the Winnipeg Sea Bears of the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
Price arrives after four seasons with the Chicago Bulls, most recently serving as coordinator of player development. Before joining the NBA, he spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Northern Kentucky.
Wilson joins the Raptors after four seasons with the Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold senior men's basketball team. The Vancouver native also played collegiately at Douglas College and the University of Fraser Valley before transferring to TMU.
Raptors Coaching Staff Set for 2026-27
Alongside the new additions, Pat Delany and Jama Mahlalela will continue as assistant coaches, while Ivo Simović, Vin Bhavnani, Eric Khoury, Jim Sann and Mery Andrade remain with the organization.
Ike Azotam and Kareem Elliott will continue as video coordinators and player development coaches, joined by Ingo, Price and Wilson. Felecia Brown also returns as Manager, Coaching Operations for her fourth season with Toronto.
With Silas adding significant NBA coaching experience, Vest earning a promotion and Castleberry returning, the Raptors now have their coaching structure in place ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season.
