The ARK Sports Village is located on a previously unused plot of land under Gali Batu Flyover and is said to be the biggest sports and fitness facility in the area. It was built thanks to a collaboration between the Singapore Land Authority, Sport Singapore, and ARK.
Among the notable features of The ARK Sports Village is the presence of not one, not two, not three, but five pickleball courts. The best part is that the courts are sheltered, mostly because the facility is, again, under a flyover. Rates for pickleball court rentals start at SGD $30/hour.
Aside from the five pickleball courts, The ARK Sports Village also houses four futsal courts, and BFT Bangkit. Incidentally, this BFT gym under Gali Batu Flyover is said to be the biggest in Singapore. BFT, which stands for “Body Fit Training,” offers progressive training programmes suited to people of all fitness levels.
The ARK Sports Village is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily and is fully equipped with lights. For those who want to visit, the Gali Batu Flyover is connected to the Kranji Expressway (KJE) and is just a seven-minute walk from Segar LRT Station. It is also just three stops from Bukit Panjang MRT Station, on the Downtown Line (DTL).
