Trackhouse MotoGP has confirmed the appointment of Francesco Guidotti as its new Team Manager, with the Italian set to begin his role immediately at this weekend's Czech Grand Prix in Brno.
The move marks a significant step in the team's long-term plans under owner Justin Marks, who continues to strengthen Trackhouse's presence in MotoGP. Guidotti arrives with extensive experience in the paddock and a proven track record, having enjoyed considerable success during his time at Pramac Racing before later joining KTM.
His appointment also signals a return to familiar territory, as Guidotti reunites with Aprilia, a manufacturer with which he previously shared successful moments.
"I'm thrilled to be back and I couldn't have hoped for a better opportunity than this," Guidotti said. "Trackhouse is a young and professional team that has already achieved some special results. I will do my best to help the team and the riders continue to grow. Returning to work with Aprilia is also something special for me because of the many great memories and friendships."
The leadership change comes as current team principal Davide Brivio prepares for a future move to Honda in 2027. Brivio's new position is expected to involve responsibilities beyond MotoGP, including marketing and business development activities.

For the remainder of the season, Brivio will continue overseeing Trackhouse's day-to-day racing operations while Guidotti focuses on shaping the team's medium- and long-term strategy. The arrangement is designed to ensure continuity during the transition period.
One of Guidotti's most important responsibilities will be helping determine Trackhouse's rider lineup for the 2027 season, a decision that could have a major impact on the team's future competitiveness.
Aprilia is believed to be interested in securing Enea Bastianini, although any move would depend on KTM releasing the Italian from an existing option that could keep him at Tech3 beyond next season.
The battle for the second seat remains wide open. Raul Fernandez has strengthened his position with a series of impressive performances, including victory at the 2025 Australian Grand Prix and a sprint race win at Mugello earlier this year.
However, Fernandez is not without challengers. Moto2 championship leader Manuel Gonzalez is among the riders attracting attention, while Luca Marini's experience also makes him a potential candidate.
With a new leadership structure now in place, Trackhouse's focus is shifting toward building a competitive project for the next era of MotoGP. The decisions made over the coming months, particularly regarding its rider lineup, are expected to play a key role in shaping the team's ambitions for 2027 and beyond.
