This parting of ways is said to be a mutual decision for both parties, and ALW’s heartfelt message to her long-time sponsor is proof that there’s no ill will on either side.
“From the first tournament I ever played, I am incredibly thankful for the support, the opportunities, and shared moments we’ve had together. You truly believed in me from the beginning!” Waters wrote on social media.
In the same message, Anna Leigh Waters attributed part of her success to “the passion and love” that she and Paddletek shared through the years in a partnership that began way back in 2018.
“Winning along the way was a byproduct of the passion and love we both have for the sport,” she said. “It’s been a joy representing a brand that truly cares about the game, their paddles, and players.”

Indeed, Waters wouldn’t have stayed with Paddletek for so long if the brand didn’t care about her, the sport, and ALW’s peers. But, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Apparently, that also holds true for one of the most successful partnerships in all of sports.
But while this is the end of the road for Waters and Paddletek, the latter can rest easy knowing that the former will always be a fan.
“Grateful for everything, and I will always be a fan of the brand,” Anna Leigh Waters concluded.
