The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), National Basketball Association (NBA) and International Basketball Federation (FIBA) have announced the 40 elite international prospects selected for the fourth Women's Basketball Without Borders (BWB) All-Star camp.

Chicago Set to Host the Next Generation of Women's Basketball Stars
The three-day event will take place from July 24-26 at the Advocate Center, the Chicago Bulls' official practice facility, as part of the festivities surrounding AT&T WNBA All-Star 2026. The annual camp continues to provide some of the world's most promising young female players with an opportunity to develop their skills while competing against elite international talent.
WNBA Stars and International Coaches to Lead Camp
This year's participants will learn from an accomplished coaching staff featuring current and former WNBA players, national team representatives and experienced international coaches.
Among those leading the camp are Washington Mystics guard and Australian national team player Georgia Amoore, two-time WNBA champion Tamecka Dixon, former Spain international Anna Montañana, along with Meighan Simmons and Shanece Sims.
Former WNBA star and current Boston Celtics Vice President of Team Operations and Organizational Growth Allison Feaster will once again serve as camp director, guiding the next generation of global talent.
Elite Competition and Valuable Exposure Await Prospects
Throughout the weekend, campers will participate in athletic testing, movement efficiency drills, skill-development stations, 3-on-3 competitions and full 5-on-5 games. The program also includes life-skills seminars designed to help players prepare for both basketball and life beyond the court.
One of the biggest opportunities comes from the presence of WNBA scouts and NCAA coaches, who will evaluate the prospects throughout the camp. Last year's event proved highly successful, with 27 participants earning NCAA Division I scholarship offers after impressing college recruiters.
Players will also compete in a skills challenge and three-point contest during WNBA Live 2026 presented by AWS before attending the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game at Chicago's United Center on July 25. Nike, a longtime Basketball Without Borders partner since 2002, will continue supporting the event by providing all participants with apparel and footwear.
Basketball Without Borders Continues Building Global Talent
Since launching in 2001, Basketball Without Borders has become one of basketball's premier international development programs. The initiative has welcomed more than 4,900 participants from 149 countries and territories, while 155 former campers have gone on to reach the NBA or WNBA.
On the women's side alone, 23 former BWB participants have advanced to the WNBA, including standout players such as Kamilla Cardoso, Aaliyah Edwards, Ezi Magbegor, Dominique Malonga, Jade Melbourne, Iliana Rupert, Han Xu and Awak Kuier.
BWB Next Up Expands the Program's Global Vision
As Basketball Without Borders celebrates its 25th anniversary, the NBA and FIBA are continuing to invest in international player development. To date, the NBA and FIBA have organized 84 Basketball Without Borders camps across 56 cities in 36 countries, helping expand basketball's global reach.
The organizations have already announced BWB Next Up, a new initiative that will hold two annual camps featuring the top 80 male and top 80 female prospects from outside the United States. The strongest performers will earn invitations to future Basketball Without Borders All-Star camps held alongside NBA and WNBA All-Star festivities.
The inaugural Women's BWB Next Up camp is scheduled for fall 2026, further strengthening the pathway for young international stars hoping to reach the highest level of the game.
