Combat Shooting Club will host the inaugural CSC League Cup: Flames of Victory this June, as Kuala Lumpur’s growing pickleball scene continues to gain momentum with a major new competitive event.

Combat Shooting Club is set to strengthen Kuala Lumpur’s growing pickleball community with the launch of the inaugural CSC League Cup: Flames of Victory tournament this June.

The event marks a significant step in the club’s expansion into pickleball, one of Malaysia’s fastest-growing sports, as it looks to establish itself as a key venue for both competitive and recreational play.

Known for its integrated sports, wellness and lifestyle facilities, Combat Shooting Club has increasingly embraced pickleball in response to rising local interest. The launch of the CSC League Cup reflects the club’s ambition to create a long-term competitive platform for players across different skill levels.

Rather than being a standalone event, the tournament is planned as part of a recurring seasonal league series inspired by the concept of the “Five Elements”. Each edition will carry a different theme, with this year’s “Flames of Victory” edition centred around the spirit of fire, symbolising passion, intensity and competitive energy on the court.

Organisers say the tournament is designed not only to encourage high-level competition but also to strengthen community engagement among pickleball players in Malaysia.

The competition will feature a round-robin league format, allowing participants to face multiple opponents across their respective divisions and ensuring consistent match play throughout the event.

With more than RM40,000 worth of prizes, rankings and recognition on offer, the CSC League Cup is expected to attract strong participation from players around the region.

The sizeable prize pool also reflects the growing commercial and competitive potential of pickleball in Malaysia, where interest in the sport has surged rapidly in recent years.

Combat Shooting Club hopes the event will become a regular fixture on the local pickleball calendar and further position Kuala Lumpur as one of the country’s emerging centres for the sport.

Registration for the tournament is now open, with organisers encouraging players to secure their spots early ahead of what is expected to be a highly competitive and well-supported inaugural edition.
