World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka praised her strong performance after a convincing victory over Elena Rybakina in the semifinal of the Miami Open. Sabalenka’s straight‑sets win secured her place in the title match, where she will face Coco Gauff.
In her post‑match comments, Sabalenka said she felt she executed her game plan well and made few mistakes as she powered through the match. She said she was satisfied with how she played and believed her strong performance was key to earning the victory.
Sabalenka’s win over Rybakina continues her excellent form at the Miami Open, where she has been one of the dominant players all week. Her performance has positioned her strongly heading into the final, where she will aim for another major title on hard courts.
The world No.1’s progression to the final also keeps her on track for a rare Sunshine Double, having already won the Indian Wells title earlier in the season.
With confidence high after such a commanding display against a top‑ranked opponent, Sabalenka enters the championship match as one of the favourites to claim the Miami Open crown.
