Malaysia's men's doubles pair Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun are aiming to maintain their place among the world's top eight after making an impressive return to form with their French Open triumph.
The Malaysians climbed from 11th to eighth in the latest world rankings following their victory at the Super 750 tournament, achieving a target they had been working towards after a challenging period earlier in the season.
Their success in Paris was a major boost after several months of inconsistent results, which were made more difficult by Wei Chong's right knee injury and BAM's temporary decision to split the pair for partnership trials.

Reunited for the European leg of the tour, Wei Chong and Kai Wun initially struggled to find their rhythm, suffering a first-round exit at the Denmark Open. However, they bounced back strongly in France, winning their first Super 750 title together.
The pair also ended Malaysia's 22-year wait for a men's doubles title at the French Open, defeating compatriots Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani in the final.
Their immediate challenge is to build on that achievement and avoid another series of early tournament exits. Consistent performances will be important if they are to remain competitive against the world's leading pairs.
With their confidence boosted by the Paris victory and Wei Chong's knee condition improving, the Malaysians will be hoping to carry their momentum into the remaining tournaments of the season.
