The proposed showcase would see MotoGP bikes complete several demonstration laps during the F1 weekend, giving the large crowd in attendance a chance to experience the speed and sound of the premier motorcycle racing series firsthand.
The initiative is part of MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports' wider strategy to grow the championship's profile in the United States, a market where Formula 1 has enjoyed a significant surge in popularity over the past few years.

Austin is viewed as the ideal venue for the project, as the Circuit of the Americas already hosts both Formula 1 and MotoGP events. Organisers hope that exposing F1 fans to MotoGP during one of the biggest race weekends on the American calendar could encourage more spectators to follow the series and attend future MotoGP races.
The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix is scheduled for 23 to 25 October, several months after MotoGP held its own race at the same circuit in March. Bringing MotoGP machinery back to Austin during the F1 weekend would give the championship another opportunity to connect with a much larger audience.
Although discussions are still ongoing and the final format has yet to be confirmed, the demonstration is expected to focus on showcasing MotoGP rather than competitive action. The event would allow fans unfamiliar with the series to witness the performance of the bikes up close without affecting either championship's race schedule.
If approved, the Austin showcase would mark another step in MotoGP's efforts to expand its global reach by capitalising on Formula 1's growing popularity in the United States and introducing the sport to a new generation of motorsport fans.
