Pedro Acosta is set to begin a new chapter in his MotoGP career, with Monster Energy becoming his personal sponsor from the 2027 season as he prepares to join Ducati's factory team.
Monster confirmed the upcoming partnership through a social media video on November 4, featuring a shark-inspired logo incorporating Acosta's name and racing identity, alongside the message "2027 loading".
The announcement marks the end of Acosta's long association with Red Bull, which has been closely linked to his racing career since his early days in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
The Spaniard finished runner-up in the competition in 2019 before winning the title in 2020. He subsequently moved into the Moto3 World Championship with Red Bull KTM Ajo in 2021, claiming the championship in his rookie season.

Acosta continued his success in Moto2, securing the world title in 2023 with seven victories and 14 podium finishes before stepping up to MotoGP the following year.
He made his premier-class debut with Tech3 KTM in 2024 before joining the factory KTM squad in 2025. During that period, Red Bull branding remained part of his racing equipment through KTM's sponsorship arrangements rather than a personal sponsorship agreement.
His upcoming move to Ducati has now opened the door to a direct partnership with Monster Energy, one of Red Bull's major competitors in the energy drink market.
Monster already has a sponsorship agreement with Ducati's factory team, making Acosta's arrival a natural fit as he prepares to join Marc Marquez in 2027.
The 22-year-old has also enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2026, claiming his maiden MotoGP Grand Prix victory at the Austrian Grand Prix before adding Sprint wins in Thailand and Malaysia.
Acosta's move to Ducati will see him compete under a new team structure, sponsorship arrangement and technical regulations, with MotoGP introducing its 850cc engine formula and Pirelli tyres in 2027.
The sponsorship change adds another significant development to the Spanish rider's transition, as he prepares to challenge for the premier-class title with Ducati.
